North Wales Young Business Awards

The North Wales Young Business Awards 2017.

The event took place on the 30th September at Bangor University, PJ Hall. POJO Creative organised the event to bring people together and gain recognition that businesses deserve.

For those who don’t know about the NWYBA, this is an awards ceremony for Entrepreneurs and Business Owners under the age of 35 in the North Wales Area.

Starting a business requires hard work, dedication and consistency. Making me believe that young entrepreneurs don’t get enough recognition for their business journeys that they create.

They should be rewarded, just like every other business owner whether they have been in business for one year or 20 years.

The funny thing is, nobody really thinks about what goes on behind the scenes in a business. All those ideas, meetings, networking and not to mention MONEY that gets ploughed into running a successful business.

One of the most amazing things about the event is the networking opportunity that comes with it. Being in a room full of like-minded individuals from the local area could unleash the power of working together to create and do more.

It is also a great excuse to dress up to the nines, creating memories with friends, family and colleagues.

We discovered some amazing talent that evening. What an insight.

ALL the entertainment was going on: Magician, Show Girls, Ukalale band, Popcorn Machine, Photo Booth you name it…

We also had a DJ, you should have seen the moves our finalists were pulling out…they gave Michael Jackson a run for his money!

I’m super excited to start planning the North Wales Young Business Awards 2018 already!

If you want to see pictures, winners etc of the evening visit:
